LeeAnne Barnett, con condiciones de salud subyacentes, recibió la inyección de Novavax en febrero de 2021 y se sintió mal de inmediato, 6 días después desarrolló un sarpullido doloroso y ardiente en la parte inferior de su cuerpo, fue al hospital pero no recibió ayuda.

Le salieron moretones y vivió con un dolor constante, tuvo lagrimeo en los ojos que sentía como ácido y que era muy doloroso, todo eso le causó depresión y ansiedad, tuvo que ser internada por un dolor de estómago extremo y le dijeron que tenía una disfunción renal, su estómago distendido hacia parecer que estaba embarazada.
